Whether you decide to auto pay or manual pay, you have the option to select a billing schedule that fits your needs. Choose either monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annual billing intervals.

Changes To Your Policy

As a policyholder of Alamance Farmers it is important to consider your insurance coverage needs, as they may have changed. We encourage you to notify your agent when:

  • You need more coverage on your home due to inflation, addition, or improvements.
  • You had a life change such as a marital status change, a new home purchase, or a child away at college.
  • Your mortgage company has changed.
  • You would like to add additional coverages such as Water Back Up, Inland Flood, or Earthquake.
  • You have had a change in the deeded ownership of your home.

Protective devices don’t only give you peace of mind, they also allow you to take advantage of great discounts on your policy. If you have a fire alarm, burglar alarm, or a self-monitored alarm contact your agent to take advantage of protective device credits on your policy.

Fire Protective Devices

Devices eligible for a credit include local alarms (smoke and/or heat), fire extinguishers, and monitored fire alarm systems that are connected to a central station or fire department, and sprinkler systems.

Theft Protective Devices

Devices eligible for a credit include local theft alarms and theft alarm systems connected to a central station or police department.

Smart Home Protective Devices

Smart devices eligible for a credit include self and professionally monitored theft alarm systems, whole-home flow based automatic water shut-off systems, self-monitored smoke and heat alarms, professionally monitored smoke and heat alarm systems.
